SABRINA FIELDS
State Policy Fellow
Sabrina is a Master of Public Policy student at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, focusing on energy and environmental policy. She serves as the UChicago Liaison to the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and works as a research assistant for Professor Robert Rosner, studying the economics of nuclear energy and possible applications of nuclear micro-reactors. Sabrina tries to demystify nuclear energy as the co-president of the Harris Energy and Environmental Association. When not working, you can find her roller skating.

Mohammad is an outspoken student-leader who currently attends law school in Michigan. His political and legal activism ranges from climate change to human rights, and everything in between. "My passion for the practicality, potential, and efficiency of nuclear energy led me to join the prestigious team at Generation Atomic." Mohammad will be bringing his skills in legal research, policy research, and activism to our team. Outside of the aforementioned, he loves to stay physically active, enjoy the great outdoors, and balance his schedule to spend quality time with loved ones.
SAMANTHA MCLOUGHLIN

Sam is an undergraduate student at Vanderbilt University from Los Angeles, double majoring in Political Science and Economics. In high school, she was an avid participant in speech and debate. Now, she's passionate about building movements for a better future, having worked for non-profits aimed at increasing voter registration, rectifying wrongful incarcerations, and more.
ZACH MEISTER

Zach Meister is from Cincinnati, Ohio. He attends Florida International University and is seeking his bachelors in journalism with a minor in political science. Zach is hoping to someday take his degree in journalism and utilize it to effectively communicate, write and report on the usage, importance, and further development of nuclear power. Zach is a very passionate individual and is proud to be a part of Generation Atomic.
MADISON SCHRODER

Madison Schroder is a Political Science Ph.D. student at the University of Oregon researching voter mobilization and turnout. Madison became interested nuclear energy as an undergraduate student at the University of Missouri, which houses the largest university research reactor in the United States. With the belief that nuclear energy is crucial to addressing the Earth's climate issues, Madison advocates strongly for education as one of the keys to mobilizing support.

Kat (she/her) received her Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University in Law and Political Science with minors in Economics and Environmental Science. She is currently obtaining a Masters in Environmental Sciences, with a concentration in Sustainable Energy Solutions, from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. She was previously employed as an International Affairs Intern within the U.S. Department of Commerce. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in environmental policy with hopes of advocating for nuclear energy on an international scale.
GIOVANNI LIGUORI

Gio is a rising senior at the George Washington University, studying political science and criminal justice. After completing an internship in hydrogen and fuel cell energy policy, he developed a passion for climate change advocacy and plans to dedicate his career to proliferating clean energy. Originally from New Jersey, Gio has found Washington, DC to be his second home and loves the politics, food, music scene, and vibrance of the city. Continuing his studies at GW, he will be pursuing a Master of Public Policy, likely concentrating in environmental policy. Gio is always willing to discuss politics, sports (especially the Yankees and Nets), and video games, his favorite pastimes.

Zaire Smith is a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor's in Environmental Sustainability. As an environmentalist, she seeks innovative techniques, long-term solutions, and tangible results for a clean future for upcoming generations. Her ideas for improved systems incorporate both ecological and ethical values and she advocates for a sustainable tomorrow.
MATTHEW ALDAMA

Matthew Aldama is a recent graduate from the University of California San Diego. He received my degree in Environmental Policy from the Environmental Systems program. He is passionate about being a part of the climate action movement in any way he can, especially focusing on energy, environmental justice, and social justice. In his personal time he enjoys staying active by enjoying the outdoors, listening to live music, and watching sports.
LYNDSEY GADD

Lyndsey is an environment and sustainability student at Western Colorado University. She is interested in educating people about the importance sustainability efforts and making confusing science research into more digestible information for everybody. She believes that education is the most important factor in the environmental movement especially on topics that are misrepresented in the media like nuclear power.
KIERSTEN SUNDELL
Communications Coordinator
Kiersten is a student at the University of Rhode Island double majoring in Environmental Science and Political Science. She is studying the relationship between environmental and social justice, working towards a career that will help expand the role of clean energy in repairing environmental racism. She is a member of two collegiate honor societies and has four years of experience in environmental leadership. During Kiersten's position as head of a local climate council, she taught environmental lessons to high-school students, organized week-long sustainability programs, and campaigned for environmentally-conscious practices in Connecticut schools.

Leah Hubbard is studying applied engineering at Michigan State University, with a focus in supply chain management. She wants to bring supply chain and engineering together. She is interested in the sustainability of nuclear energy systems and I am passionate about finding ways to improve current systems and give new ideas.
