Our Programs
Our Mission: To inspire and empower advocates for a clean future powered by atomic energy.
Our Vision: A world where atomic energy is broadly used for the benefit of all people and the planet.
Inspiring Nuclear Support
Creative SciComms
Everyone needs access to information about energy policy and nuclear science. Our Creative Science Communication Program simplifies these topics with engaging short videos and memes, empowering informed energy decisions.
Nuclear Art
Generation Atomic celebrates nuclear energy through art. We co-curated an exhibition at SXSW with Mothers for Nuclear in 2024 and hosted an art show with the IAEA in 2022, highlighting nuclear creativity and sparking conversations about the future of atomic energy. (We also create music videos.)
Empowering Advocates
Atomic Ambassadors
Generation Atomic’s Atomic Ambassadors training program empowers a global network of nuclear energy advocates to have an impact in their communities. We provide comprehensive training to enhance their communication skills, covering topics like storytelling and responding to objections, as well as equip them with a toolkit of activities allowing them to hit the ground running.
Volunteer Program
Our passionate volunteers are the heart of Generation Atomic, contributing through three teams. The Government team builds legislative support for nuclear energy, while Technical Research conducts fact-finding missions. Our ECO (Education, Communications & Outreach) team brings nuclear conversations to new communities, influencing public opinion and decision-makers.
Educational Programs
Atomic Horizons
Inspire the next generation of clean energy leaders with Atomic Horizons, a nuclear science education program for grades 6-12. Our engaging speakers will deliver interactive lessons that spark curiosity about nuclear technologies, STEM career pathways, and workforce development.
Help us bring Atomic Horizons to classrooms by supporting our funding efforts.
MegaWatt PowerPlay
MegaWatt PowerPlay aims to bring the Megawatt card game to classrooms, teaching students about sustainable energy and workforce development through play.
Megawatt challenges players to build resilient, low-carbon electricity grids while adapting to real-world events. We’re working to align the game for U.S. science standards and provide teacher training and support materials.
Bring Gen A to Your Company
Fission Forward
Fission Forward is an advocacy program for nuclear plants and vendors, combining employee training with video production to highlight positive community impact. It empowers the workforce to be effective ambassadors, build stakeholder support, and advance nuclear energy’s role in the clean energy transition.
Radiant Reels
Radiant Reels, produced by Generation Atomic, explores nuclear energy as we continue to reach out and inform the public. Our team can visit your company to create an on-site video, either featuring one of your team members or showcasing a compelling aspect of your facility related to nuclear science.
